Ontario Handspinning Seminar

Spinning flax fibre doesn't have to be something to fear. In this workshop participants will learn how to prepare their flax fibre for spinning, then learn how to use a distaff or tea towel wrap to manage the fibre. You'll learn how to spin your dressed flax into fine linen yarn and how to finish your skeins. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice spinning techniques and discuss types of prepared flax and end uses.
