Welcome to the website of the Ontario Handspinning Seminar, Ontario's annual conference for
handspinners. Founded in 1964, the Seminar has taken place in a variety of
locations within the Province. In the past, it has been held in Hamilton,
Toronto, London, Kingston and Guelph, moving to provide easy access for spinners
throughout the Province. Each year the organizing committee selects a theme for
this two-day event. For some conferences, the weekend's activities have focused
on a single textile fibre; for others, we have explored elements such as colour
or using sources of inspiration.
