Fifty years ago this beautiful handwoven, overshot coverlet was the first-place winner in the 1973 Exhibition of Canadian Weavers in Vancouver, BC. The warp and tabby weft are cotton and the pattern weft is naturally coloured handspun wool. Donated by Mary Wade with the intention of the proceeds being used to support and promote hand spinning in Ontario. Tickets will be available at The Seminar for $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. One lucky winner will get to take this home!
