Seminar 2022| Newsletter

To see previous Newsletters head on over to the TimeLine page here

Back in the mid 1960s, when the first Handspinning Seminars were planned, information was shared via newsletters. As time went on, the Organizing Committee of the Seminar published 2 newsletters; one in the Fall and one in the Spring.   The Fall newsletter announced those who had won awards and competitions at the previous seminar and revealed key details of the upcoming seminar.  The Spring newsletter outlined all of the workshop and venue information regarding the seminar that would be held later that Summer.  Many generations of Ontario handspinners watched their mailboxes with anticipation in November and March to receive their editions of the Seminar newsletters!

Today, we honour our Seminar past by continuing on with the tradition of publishing 2 newsletters per year.  As each newsletter becomes available and published by the current Organizing Committee, it will be posted below for you to download and read.  Much of the information is shared on this site throughout the various pages as it becomes available and organized for easy access by users.   For the full newsletter experience, choose a quiet spot with your favourite hot beverage and open the newsletter file to begin planning your weekend out in June.  Enjoy!
