Whether you want to master core spinning or play with thick-and-thin textures, this session will provide the tools you need to create one-of-a-kind art yarn. By the end of this workshop you will be able to: • prepare and blend coloured fibers on a drum carder • spin 3 types of art yarn • incorporate different materials into your spinning, such as locks, fabric, and beads • use different plying techniques. Fibre will be provided, but feel free to bring your own in case you have time to practice.
